THE POWER SKILLS PROGRAMS

Emotional Regulation Skill Building for the Classroom

* 18 week curriculum for 5 minute daily regulation strategies in the classroom for Pre-K to 8th grade students (includes lesson planning for year-round implementation)

* Mental Health Program for school social workers, counselors, and teachers to address the growing mental health needs of students at a nonclinical level

* Membership access to audio instruction, videos, digital downloads, blogs, and resources for continued practice with seasonal activities

*This curriculum integrates actual physical techniques of evidence-based emotional regulation strategies alongside educational lessons to build awareness of how one’s emotions impact their body and why these techniques work to help build students’ self regulation, resiliency, and mental health

All daily lessons stay under the 5 minute timeframe to reduce the demand on teachers’ classroom time

Our nation is seeing increasing numbers of students experiencing poverty and trauma and growing numbers of children with mental health disorders.
— Dr. Andrea Clyne, President of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP)
